We signed Randi up for an art class through New Braunfels Parks and Rec during the month of March. Unfortunately I forgot about the class the first two weeks, but she had lots of fun and made some neat projects during her last two weeks of class.
After living here for 10 months, the dog yard needed a serious revamping. The beautiful grass that was once in there has been tromped down to hard packed dirt, and when it rains, it becomes a mud bog! So we hired some guys to dig up the old dirt and replace it with decomposed granite. Ryan was in heaven because the tractor was here all day, taking away dirt and bringing back granite. He'd direct him on each load and even got into helping with all the digging! He was one tired, but happy boy at the end of the day!
Randi's class went on a field trip today to the Heritage Museum of the Texas Hill Country where they saw Native American artifacts, early pioneer machinery, fossils, and dinosaur tracks. When Ryan heard the word dinosaur, he said "I go!", so he tagged along too. The kids had a great time and learned a few things along the way!
Tutu got Randi an Easy Bake Oven for Christmas and they finally got it out of the box and Randi made her very first cake and a batch of cookies....all by herself! They actually turned out really well, and needless to say, she was very proud of herself!
It's been a little rainy the last few days, so I decided to take the kids to the Children's Museum to burn off a little energy. They always have so much fun there, and I love watching them explore and play in such a creative way.
