Gone to the dogs!

Friday afternoon we knocked the dirt off a couple of dogs, gave the kids a bath too, and headed to a dog show in Hutto (about an hour away from us near Austin). Micheal's friend Tim tagged along and we all had a great time. The kids loved showing their dogs and both did a really good job! Randi did much better in the ring with the support of her little brother in there along side her, and he of course had no problem being the show off that he is!

My favorite picture from the whole day!

The judge asking Ryan what his dogs' name is?

Ryan getting treats out of his pocket for his dog.

Look what I got Mom!

Randi loved her prize!

My other favorite picture from the day!

I love this dog!
We haven't been to a show in months and this is how she walked into the ring!

And the winners are.......

Burning off a little energy.....

We finally had a relatively cool morning, so the kids got out their scooters and bicycles and went on a little spin around the neighborhood....that is until Ryan said "Daddy, my heart hurts" and needed to come home for a little fuel food! After a fruit smoothie, his heart felt much better!

Someone loves his Sis!

Ryan was being way too quiet, so I figured he was up to something, but I had no idea this was how or where I'd find him. He couldn't wait any longer for his sissy to wake up, so he decided to go ahead and join her!

Endings and Beginnings

Thursday was the last day of summer school.
Since I forgot to take pictures of the kids with their teacher and classmates at the beginning of school, I grabbed an opportunity on the last day to capture the moment.

Randi & Miss Melissa

Ryan & Miss Issa

Two days later we went to a Kindergarten Kick Off event at the Children's Museum. Randi misses the Kindergarten cut off date by a week, so she'll be going to private Kinder at the school she attended last year, and our plan is to have her repeat Kinder in a public school next year. Most schools start on Monday, but she won't start until September 1, so we still have one more week of summer fun to enjoy! Yeah!

Checking in

Tying a shoelace station

Randi's final report card from the day...she passed all the stations!

Ryan's favorite station was the Popsicle station!!!
