Ford Family Farm Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Ford Family Farm today

and had a lot of fun painting pumpkins...

being silly....

riding bikes on the Pumpkin 500 Speedway...

having our face painted...

bowling with pumpkins and gourds...

getting pulled by the tractor...

decorating scarecrows...

taking nature breaks...

and having a good old fashioned sack race!

The kids were asleep in the car before we even got off the farm
so it was a fun filled day and a nice quiet drive home!

Yesterday we went to the Girl Scout Fall Rally
and had a great time playing games, jumping and sliding in the bounce house,
and getting lots and lots of candy.

Attack of the Butterflies

When we went outside to play this afternoon, we saw 100's of butterflies flying around everywhere! Ryan was soooo excited and couldn't get over what a cool sight it was.

We were having a little bedtime meltdown the other night, so in an attempt to change the mood, I suggested Ryan put on Randi's nightgown...and when Randi heard that, she wanted to put on Ryan's PJ's. The result was a major toddler, I'm tired and need to go to bed, crisis was adverted and turned into hysterical belly laughing event! It was a hoot!
