I put in a Hannah Montana CD this morning and turned it up really loud to liven up the place. While Randi was singing away in her pretend microphone, Ryan ran into her room and got her guitar. I was so impressed with the way he held it and acted like he knew what he was doing with it, but, poor guy, even his guitar is pink!
Randi's had a wiggly tooth for a month or so now, and last night while brushing her teeth, it really started bleeding, so I took a closer look and saw it was about to fall out, so with a swift yank with the tweezers, Randi officially lost her first tooth! She didn't cry, but she was a little concerned about all the blood in her mouth. Thankfully, it healed over quickly and the ritual of preparing the tooth to go under her bed excited her so much that it made her forget her concerns. The next morning she found 5 $1.00 bills and a special star under her pillow. Click the video at the end to see my first attempt at attaching a movie...hope it works because its really cute!
The day after her tooth fell out. She went to the Children's Museum and had her face painted like a kitty cat....I think there's a pattern developing here!
Randi was invited to a bowling birthday party on Sunday, and Ryan tagged along. The kids had a great time bowling, eating cake and hanging out with friends. It was a fun afternoon.
Randi is taking swim lessons at Schlitterbahn for the next 6 weeks. They've already moved her up one level and yesterday her new instructor told me she was going to move her from the 1.5 level class to a 2.5 or level 3 class! Wow. She is doing really well. She is learning to do the freestyle, breast and back strokes, she can pick a ring up off the bottom of the pool (with the help of a little push down) and she can swim the length of a 50' pool and back all by herself! I'm so proud of her!
The girl swimming behind Randi is 6 years old, and Randi kept slowing down so the other girl could keep up with her!
After swim lessons, we've been heading over to Schlitterbahn for a little fun in the sun....and water!

Randi had a couple of friends over for a play date, and I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of the adorable little princesses!
We enrolled both Randi in Ryan in a 2 day a week summer school program, and today was their first day. They were very excited to go this morning and both were very happy when we picked them up, so it appears they'll enjoy it....and I'll enjoy a little "me" time while they're off having fun!
