After living here for 8 months, I finally knocked the dirt off a couple of the dogs and took them to a dog show. I showed Cha Cha for the very first time, and she actually impressed me with how well she did, taking her class at the first show and a 3rd out of 5 at the second show. Kai acted like she'd never left the ring and showed like a million bucks. The judges recognized her by giving her Reserve at the first show and Winners at the second show, but my fellow exhibitors also recognized her by giving me the most wonderful compliments on her!
Randi also showed in Pee Wee's. She did well the first night, going around the ring by herself....with a little help from the judge, thank you Melinda! But the second show she just couldn't make it out of her shell. However, I'm proud to say that when Kai went Winners and I needed help in Best of Breed, Randi rose to the challenge, took Teva in by herself, and did an awesome job showing her. I was SO proud of her!
