Randi gets a new bike & Ryan learns how to ride a big bike!

We were out playing with the kids the other day when I noticed that Randi looked like a giant on her little bicycle. It was just the right size for her when we moved here 10 months ago, but somewhere along the way, she sprouted and now her knees are hitting her chin when she tries to pedal. So Michael and I went into town the next day and found her the cutest Tinkerbell bike. When we saw the little flowers on it, we knew it'd be right up her alley, and indeed she loves it!









When we were picking out Randi's bike, we talked about getting Ryan a new bike too, but when we bought Randi her bike at 2 years old, it was really too big for her, so we thought it would be best to wait until Ryan was closer to 3 before getting him a big boy bike. However, when he saw Randi's new bike and realized her old one was fair game now, he climbed on it and within 20 minutes, Michael taught him how to pedal and he was riding around like he'd been doing it forever! So it looks like we'll be heading out to Walmart after the kids fall asleep tonight for yet another bike so the kid won't get a complex riding around on a pink and purple girls bike!




We took off the pink basket, Ryan helped air up the tires, and he was ready to hit the streets!
