Well, really it was down the road, to the airport, a stop in Phoenix where we were able to visit our dear friends Kristin & Emma for an hour, onto another plane, into a rental car and finally to Pops and Bebe's house 12 hours later! But it was worth it because we had a great time!

After we were done in the kitchen, Pops had a project he needed help with...
cutting up and hauling off limbs from one of his trees.

Uncle Bret and Aunt Marcia showed up later that day.
After dinner it was time for presents. Ryan was so excited because this is the first year he's been able to recognize letters of the alphabet. Unfortunately, he thinks everything with an
"R" on it is his!
