294/365 - Why do boys love to blow thing up?

It must be in their DNA code or something! For some reason, the boys around here, both big and small love to make things explode...and the bigger the explosion, the better! Ryan wanted to make his volcano erupt again so I picked up some fresh baking soda at the store, Michael added extra vinegar to the "lava" mixture, and you can just imagine what happened after that...

293/365 - More museum fun

I was playing around with these photos today and loved the vintage feel to them, so I just felt the need to put together another collage...

292/365 - Children's Museum

The kids had early release from school today, so I took them into San Antonio to the Children's Museum. I don't know who had more fun, them playing or me watching them have such a great time!

291/365 - You never know where you're going to find the cat!

I often hang my purse on a hook right when I walk in from the garage. Michael called to me earlier and told me to bring my camera quick, and this was the reason why...

289/365 - Pumpkin Patch

Photo & Video Sharing by SmugMug

We met up with some friends and had a great time at a local pumpkin patch. The kids went through a haunted straw bale maze, jumped in a bouncy house, rode a little train, and posed for a few photos with the pumpkins. Randi adores these little ones. She's like a mini-mama to them, always looking after them and making sure they're taken care of. In some ways they're kind of like the little sisters she'll never have. We didn't plan their coordinating outfits, but they sure looked cute in them, and I'm not sure I've ever seen that much hot pink in the middle of an orange pumpkin patch.

I snapped this as Ryan and Michael rode by on the little train, and I just love the look of joy on little man's face! It's wonderful how simple things like this can make them so happy!
