Randi vs. scissors!!!

Well I should have know that one day it would happen, but for some reason I deluded myself into thinking, "my kid will NEVER do that!" After all, I let her use scissors to cut paper and other "acceptable things" and have taught her how to be safe and respect them, so when I walked in the bathroom this afternoon and saw a pair of kids scissors sitting on the counter and Randi looking very guilty, I really didn't think it was a big deal, but then all of a sudden it felt like the whole world was moving in slow motion. At first I didn't notice anything, but then it caught my eye....yes indeed, there was a rather large area smack dab in the middle of her forehead where the hair had been cut back to her scalp! Ickes!!! I should have taken a picture of it before I tried to fix it, but my instinct was to run for my dog grooming box and get out my shears and try to MAKE IT GO AWAY!!! Here is a picture of her at the park later that same afternoon sporting her new very short bang hairdo with the ever so lovely hunk missing out of the middle! Lovely isn't it!
