In preparation for the 5+ hour car trip to the beach, we decided to finally get Ryan his own DVD player. He was SO excited about it that he sat in the car for over an hour watching a movie while we packed and got the car loaded. What a lifesaver it was!
One of Ryan's favorite things to do this trip was sit on Daddy's shoulders and walk around in the waves!

And Randi's favorite thing was running and playing in the waves....thank goodness she's finally over her fear stage of the water!
We met some kids on the beach one afternoon and they had fun building a pool...castle... or whatever it was with us.
Eating lunch with the pirates at Pirates Landing in Port Isabel.
Visiting the Sea Life Museum...one of the kids' favorite places to visit while we're at the beach.

Great pictures...looks like you all had a fun time. Love the one of Randi in the water:)
I always enjoy hearing which photos people like! I'm partial to that one of Randi too because, even though its taken from behind, I think it shows a lot of emotion. BTW, that picture was taken with my really old, first Olympus digital that I like to take to the beach so I don't have to worry about it as much!
