Last September, we sent our little 4 year old girl out the door to her first day of Kindergarten. Over the course of 8 months she learned how to count to 100, add and subtract, recognize and sound out all her letters, read words and even short books, as well as learned about animals, nature, science, art and all kinds of other fun things. But most of all, she learned how to be part of a group, a member of a team, a super frog and a line leader, as well as a follower and a good sport on the play ground. She made many new friends, and her teacher always complimented her on her behavior and made sure to let us know that she was one sharp cookie! It was a wonderful year filled with many firsts and lots of fond memories. Here's a look at our little one on her first and last days of school. In some ways she looks the same, but in other ways she's so grown up now.
