It's Rodeo Time!!!

It's that time of year again in San Antonio when you pull on your boots, put on your hat and head to the rodeo. We went on Sunday so the kids could see Selina Gomez in concert after the rodeo performance, but 15 minutes into her show, they were sound asleep on our laps. I still can't figure out how Ryan can wake up if I drop a pin in his room and yet he could sleep right through 1000's of screaming teenage girls at a rock concert! Go figure. Anyways, they loved watching the rodeo and had a great time at the carnival after they woke up from their impromptu naps!

Ryan was so excited when the show started and fireworks went off... and I was so excited that I actually got this shot capturing his expression!

I love the part of the show when they bring out this amazing team of draft horses and do an incredible demonstration of their precision and talent

But my FAVORITE part of the rodeo is when they turn the horses loose at the end and do a tribute to their majesty and freedom...it never fails to give me goosebumps!
And then there's the bulls....can you tell I was having fun with the new camera!
