Randi surprised us by saying she wanted to play soccer this year, so we signed her up to play with the New Braunfels Youth Soccer League. She had her first practice a couple of weeks ago and surprised us again by jumping right in with her new team and playing her little heart out. Her team is called the Pink Panthers and they're the envy of all the other little girl teams, not only because of the color of their uniform but because they have Anna on their team!!! This girl was born to play soccer; just look at the intensity on her face and the way she handles the ball!

She's not quite Anna yet, but she sure did well for her first game and we are so proud of her!
And while the girls were playing, the little guy decided to get a head start on practicing for next year! He yelled out to me "watch this mom" and proceeded to slam the ball into the goal!
I never envisioned myself as a soccer mom, but I guess it just might be in my future!
Looking forward to a great season with a great coach, a fun group of parents, and some adorable and very talented little girls!
