Ryan has been able to buckle his top buckle and unbuckle his bottom buckle for a couple of months now, but today, for the first time, he figured out how to buckle his bottom buckle and unbuckle his top buckle. He was so proud of himself and had the cutest grin on his face that I just had to capture with the P/S, since it was what was in my bag as we were headed out to Schlitterbahn for some water fun. It is one of those moments that I'm thrilled about but a little sad at the same time because it means my little boy isn't so little anymore. As we were pulling out the driveway, Ryan told me "Now you don't have to work so hard anymore Mom!"

This is adorable. How sweet for him to think that it is saving you some work.
He is so stinking cute. Adalyn is getting interested in how to buckle her carseat but of course doesn't get it.
What a sweetie! THat is something my middle boy would say. He sounds like he is so in tune with the feelings of others. Warms my heart. My daughter started wanting to buckle her top buckle as well today. Bittersweet feeling. Adorable photo!
He's so sweet! I think it's great that you captured this moment.
