When Randi won 1st place for reading the most books last week, I told her I'd take her out for dinner and Orange Leaf yogurt. The boys went to a football game tonight, so it was the perfect time for a girls night out. I let her decide where to go for dinner and she chose Panda Express. She loves their Mandarin Chicken and can eat the heck out of it. When we got done, she opened her fortune cookie and found this note inside. I thought it was quite appropriate for her right now as I keep telling her this all the time...

I love when you get a fortune you can relate to. And I love those alone times with just one child. I'm sure Randi is going to remember these moments.
I've been having my own w/the LB on Friday nights when her sis is at ballet. If she gets a good weekly progress report we go out for yogurt. She feels SOOOO good about it. I'm so grateful for these evenings b/c this little girl REALLY needs this kind of thing.
