The kids love to draw on the sidewalk with chalk, and I love the extra 15 minutes in bed it gives me some mornings. However, this morning as I laid in bed listening to them chatting away, I thought "I need to capture this so I'll remember it", so I pulled myself out of bed and pried one eye open enough to look through the shutter, and this is what I saw.

Now I have a dilemma. I love the SOOC shot with just a little midtone and saturation boost to bring out the colors of the chalk, but I also thought it would be fun with an antique type action applied, and I can't decide which I like best?

I love the antique type :-)
I am more partial to the antique look.
I love the hazy look here, screams sunshine and happiness. Love her art.
Ooooo, I agree. I prefer the PP'd one. It almost makes it look like early morning sunshine pouring over her!
I also like the antique one the best. Great shots!
Oh, tough one! I really like the SOOC, but it's neat the effect you get with the antique look!
I like the antique one. Can I please pay you to give me a tutorial on editing?! You are really good! & I'm so proud of you for sticking with your project...
I'm a big fan of the SOOC.
I love the SOOC shot, but the antiqued effect really spoke to me for some reason, so it's the one I'll print for her book. Some photos lend themselves to something interesting like this, so thanks for sharing all your comments and reconfirming my thoughts.
Wow. These are awesome. Love the antique processing.
I love your PP--and the collage.
Both are great, but the antique PPing drew me in as well! I am so looking forward to chalk season again!! These are just adorable!
