A New Beginning

I keep asking myself how and where to begin again?
I'm not sure...so much has changed, and my life is not what it used to be, so rather than go back and try to catch up, I think it's better to start with a new beginning.

I've decided to do a Project 365, which is basically at least one picture a day, each and every day of the year.  Not only did I feel like it was a good way to keep me committed to blogging again, but I thought it would be a good way to inspire myself, to learn more about my camera, to improve my photography skills, to see ordinary things in a different way, to document not only the fun things in my life but the mundane as well, so that at the end of the year I'd have a record of what our life was truly like.  I feel there are magical moments in every day that sometimes pass me by because I'm too busy to notice them.  This will be my attempt to slow down and look for the simplicity and beauty and magic in my life and record it in a way that can not only be seen but hopefully not forgotten.  Sometimes the pictures will speak for themselves and need no words, other times I may feel inspired to tell a story.  I don't know where this will go.  All I know is I want to start somewhere, and this seems like something I want do right now, so bear with me as I begin again...
