One of the swim instructors had to pick her up and carry her to the edge of the bank, and she cried the whole time she was in the water, but she did it! She swam in the river! I'm so proud of her, and later in the day I could tell she was a pretty proud of herself too. We went to the store and bought a pack up Starbursts to celebrate. Yeah!

Some of my fondest memories from childhood are from hanging out in the river waters near my grandma's house! Yay for Randi's achievement!
