One of my 365 friends, Amy, put out a challenge to take a photo of something in our around our house that we normally wouldn't have noticed. So after dinner tonight, Ryan and I went out for a walk to watch deer and take a few pictures. These flowers seemed so small and delicate that I never really paid much attention to them, but I liked what I saw when I put my camera on them. I shot some other things too, but I liked these the best.

Ryan has been in quite a mood lately and has become quite a challenge to deal with. He's been very sullen, contrary, obstinate and sometimes down right mean. He's been complaining a lot, whining and even trying to boss us around. I'm not sure where my sweet boy went? I see glimpses of him when he gets what he wants, but when he doesn't, he's a little monster. Tonight was no exception, and these pictures capture exactly what we've been living with. He was happy to stop and play on the tractor and even asked me to take a picture of him, but as soon as I stopped to take a picture of some flowers and my attention wasn't focused entirely on him, he immediately started sulking and got mad at me when I took the last two pictures of him. I keep telling myself it's just a phase and this too shall pass.

I just love that first image. Beautifully done.
beautiful shot! i love the colors!
Pretty flowers!
Hope your little man gets over this phase fast. My two boys have had days like this as well. My best solution is to take away a favorite item/toy untill they are ready to co-operate and be nice.
Love that first photo! So pretty. Hope you get your sweet little man back soon. My little girl is already hitting quirky phases. Oh joy.
Wow. LOVE that first one! Gorgeous! Hope your little man comes back soon. I remember that at 3-4 years with my 2 boys.
Great way to challenge yourself, you did awesome!! I'm sure Ryan will return to his normal self soon. Seems like there is always something around a corner when it comes to parenthood...you can never relax! ;)
Great challenge/nice pictures! If I have time, I'll do it tomorrow, too. And...you're right, this too shall pass. :)
This little flowers are beautiful! I suppose Ryan is out of this funy mood by now. LOL.
Sorry to hear about your little guy, I this phase passes quickly, but I love the shot of the flowers, very beautiful.
Love this flower shot! The yellow flowers contrast so beautifully with the blurry background. Hope your little man is over his contrary phase. He's still cute, even in a mood! :-)
