It's amazing what a little over a week of every day swim lessons can do for a little boy's confidence. 10 days ago, Ryan wouldn't go near the pool, let alone go in it without his life jacket on. Now he's a fish and we can't get him out of the water. He's jumping off the waterfall, diving to the bottom of the pool for rings, and basically a wild man. I'm thrilled but must admit it was easier to keep up with him when he was a little more cautious!
I couldn't decide which of these I liked best, so since it's Tuesday (Two's day), I'm posting them both.

Oh wonderful!! I'm glad to hear that because I just signed Kate up for swim lessons and I'm a little worried :O) Love the pure joy on his face!!!

Definitely prefer the last one! He's just too darn cute! I have to say, I LOVE your pool too. We have one at our house, but the temps are just a little cool (mere 80). Hoping it will warm up! But, my husband said that if we stay up here another year (don't cross your fingers--wink, wink), we'll have to redo the paint on our pool like yours! ;)
Yay! He's doing great! He swam across the length of the WHOLE pool at lessons today (not the width, but long ways) with no help. :)
Awesome job Ryan! Matthew was the same way-wouldn't go anywhere near a pool until he was about 6. Then he just jumped in, taught himself to swim and has been a fish since. Love both of these!

Oh ~ he looks so happy!! My middle guy took his first swim in a pool on vacation. I was really nervous about it (and he seemed to be as well), but not more than a few minutes later he enjoying it like he was born int he pool. Great job Ryan! And funny about 'Two's day'!
I love how happy he looks! I need to sign my kiddo up for swim lessons... I don't think he's ever been in any body of water bigger than a kiddie pool, lol.
