I couldn't decide who to focus on for today's "Then and Now", so I'm going to do both because it was kind of fun looking back on them and seeing the changes.
First there is my hubby. We met 30 years ago when we were both going to school at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I was at the dorm dumpster, taking out my trash, when a friend of mine stopped to say hi and introduced me to his roommate... and the rest is history. I took this picture about a year after we met, when Michael and I were driving up the coast of California. We were heading to San Francisco where I was to board the S.S. Universe and spend a semester going to school at sea. I still remember this day like it was yesterday, and yet it seems like it was a lifetime ago. It's amazing to me how young he looks and yet how little he has changed. And I must say, that I am just as in love with him today as I was 29 years ago when I took this picture!
And then there are the kiddos. 6 years ago, I had no idea what I was getting myself into, and now I wouldn't have things any other way. I love you both to the moon and the stars and around the sun and back again.

hubby has gotten better with age, it is amazing how quickly children grow up

Yes, we're old...but young at heart! I reflected on it after posting and thought maybe I shouldn't have put the number of years because I don't want people to think of me any differently, but it is who I am and makes me the person I am today. I'm also super proud of hubby and I for being together for so long and love when I stop and really think about how many years it's been. I'm so lucky to have found such a wonderful man at such a young age and then to have such precious kids with him to complete our lives together!
