Ryan is in love with Sleeping Beauty. She was one of the two things he asked Santa to bring him for Christmas last year (the other thing was a remote control crane). Santa came through and brought him the barbie style Aurora, while his sister gave him the plush Aurora and his Gee gave him Prince Phillip. He loves his little family. He takes care of them during the day making sure their hair is brushed and they're comfortable, and he tucks them in ever so sweetly when it's time to go to bed. I can only imagine the wonderful adventures they share in his dreams....

What an adorable shot and story to go along with it! Don't you love how sweet they can be?!
That is so cute!
This is too precious for words. This has to go on his wedding video. Think what a great daddy he's going to be to his little girls (and boys). I have a son who used to breastfeed his dolly. He's a Great Daddy to three now.
That is the SWEETEST thing I've ever heard. Oh my...he's got his princess at age? two? three? Precious.
Oh my!! Your son and my son would get along so well!! We just may have to meet up if I or you come each others way! My son asked for a princess for christmas as well. I so wanted to get him one, but we didn't. You have inspired me though and now we just may have to! This is just precious.
I left a comment on my post and I hope it is ok to leave my answer to your question here as well....
Kristin...xoxoxo..you are so sweet! Of course I would love to share...I have thought of including my settings when I take the photo, but I always forget and just get so busy getting the photo done to post. We have the cold snow here right now so I try to do most of my photos in the morning. For this photo I had my DD sitting on an old chest so she would think it was fun ;) The patio door/window is 90 degrees to my right/her left. I also have windows behind me, but most of the light was coming from my right. I used my 50mm and was standing on a chair with a flower over my head I believe ;) I color corrected her skin (work in progress) and I did run an action on this one to brighten her eyes. I bumped up the levels to a bit I believe. I hope that helps! ;) Have a great weekend! I'm off to check out the other blogs, my favorite thing to do these days.
I love the way you and your husband look at things. My son has a couple dolls. I love the nurturing side it brings out in them. We share your feelings.
Here are my settings...f/1.4, ISO 200, Shutter 1/500.
Oh yeah, I am in Minnesota :) I think I should come to Texas right now :) It's freezing cold here...not exactly now we actually had a 30 degree day! But it would be fun if we make a trip to meet up!
lol sweet! So cute :-)
Oh goodness, this is just so sweet.
