Today's prompt is "Routines". One of our new routines is letting Ryan sit on our lap and drive when we're in our neighborhood. He's only 4, but he does a darn good job of navigating his way around. However on this day Daddy still felt the need to say a prayer to keep everyone safe! One of my favorite childhood memories is when my Dad would let me sit on his lap and drive his car in our neighborhood. I think I was a little older than Ryan, but I still remember how exciting it was and how special it made me feel. I'll never forget sharing that experience with my Daddy, as I hope Ryan will never forget sharing it with us.

Ah, so true. I loved doing this as well. What a great shot to remember this moment by!
Such a cute shot. You can really see Ryan concentrating on what he's doing.
So cute! We used to do that too, when we lived in the country with my dad. Now that we live in the city, we have blocks full of cops. Good thing, but won't work for the driving cuteness. :)
My dad used to do the same thing! Such sweet memories.
Awww! Look at the concentration! Hope ya'll are having a wonderful Valentine's in this fabulous weather!
This is really a sweet photo and a precious memory. I look forward to your blog post each day.
I'd like to take lots of credit for the heart bokeh on my photo today...however is it just brushed on in the online editing program "picnik". (picnik.com) I know how to do it for real with lights, but I don't know if that method works on the highlights outdoors. Now I want to try it and see. Ha ha.
THis is a cute photo and love his little self concentrating so hard! My father would let us do the same thing and we have started to let our oldest do the same. It's so fun to see the excitement!
Cute. We can't do that here we would get picked up by the police :-(
So sweet! Is Daddy praying or clapping?
I have to admit...I think of that picture of Britney Spears driving w/her toddler on her lap when I see this. ;) Good thing the paparrazzi isn't following you around. Oh, but the mamarazzi is. :)
