Today's assignment was to take a self portrait with the one or ones you love. Michael had to work all day at the gym and wasn't going to be home until after dark, and I didn't trust myself to do a self portrait, indoors, with a timer, so I figured I'd better try to get something while I at least had some sunlight. Randi is a bit under the weather today and wasn't feeling well at all when we took this, but she is always eager to help me with my picture of the day, so she was quite a trooper. I had to tickle Ryan to get a smile out of him, and thank goodness a nice man named Jim who was visiting from Canada happened to walk by, noticed what we were doing, and offered to take our picture. He was our angel. So this is us together in all our craziness.

Oh, I love your smile! Your daughter has just a sweet carefree look to her. I was reminded again today how challenging it can be to take a self portrait, thank goodness you had a stranger to help! You have me envious of the shorts and short sleeves!!
