Today's assignment was to capture the feeling in our home when "they're gone". I was going to take a picture of a empty house, but as much as I enjoy the quiet when everyone is gone, I miss their presence and energy and laughter, so I wasn't inspired to take it... and then I saw this. To me, it's where my parents are now that they are gone.
We went to see Train last week at the rodeo. It was an amazing concert but I must admit, this song tore me apart, and as I look at this photo, these lyrics keep going through my head...

I'm so sorry for you loss, I can't imagine how hard it can be at times but knowing they're someone where beautiful can hopefully help the pain. :) I'm obsessed with Train, they're my favorite band.
